The "Costa do Cacau" is located in the south of Bahia, and is popular with both Brazilian and international tourists for its spectacular nature. Our farm is located between Ilhéus and Itacaré, and a day trip to us is easily possible from both cities.
We currently offer the following tours:
1st guided tour of our farm "Mussununga", with insight into agroforestry as a sustainable reforestation model, tasting of seasonal harvests and planting of a tree if desired. Duration: Approx. 1-2 hours incl. refreshments. Cost: 20€/100R$ per person.
2nd tour through the rainforest with a stopover at the river where swimming is possible. Duration: 1 hour hike, plus 1-3 hours at the river. 30€/150R$ per person.

Would you like to go on vacation and support our project at the same time? Spend a few days in one of our guest houses! The view over the rainforest invites you to linger, the beach is only 7 kilometers away, and everyday life on our farm offers a refreshing change from life in the city. Breakfast included. Cost: 60€/300$ per person.
Transfer to Ilhéus, Serra Grande or Itacaré possible by arrangement.
